Quczo ("Quczo", "we", "us", or "our") operates an AI-powered local commerce platform that helps customers discover local shops and products, compare product information and prices, check availability, and place orders where supported. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use our website, customer application, shop-owner application, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Quczo, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, mobile number, email address, and authentication information used to create or access an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information (such as name and email address) that Google shares with us.
  • Location information: device location, when you grant permission, to show nearby shops and distance-related information.
  • Shop information: shop name, address, contact details, business information, product listings, prices, stock/availability, and shop images supplied by shop owners.
  • Order information: products, quantities, shop, order status, and related transaction details.
  • Search information: product keywords and queries you enter to search on Quczo.
  • Usage and technical information: device type, operating system, app/browser information, IP address, logs, and technical diagnostics where collected by our infrastructure or service providers.
  • Communications: information you provide when contacting Quczo or submitting enquiries or support requests.

2. How We Use Information

  • To create and authenticate user and shop-owner accounts.
  • To provide product search, shop discovery, price comparison, availability, and related services.
  • To use location, when permitted, to provide nearby-shop and distance features.
  • To process and manage orders and related status updates.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve Quczo.
  • To communicate with users about accounts, orders, support requests, and service-related matters.
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Location Information

If you enable location permission, Quczo may use your device location to identify nearby shops and provide distance-related information. You can control location permissions through your device settings. Some nearby-location features may not work correctly if permission is disabled.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information as a business practice. We may share information when reasonably necessary to operate Quczo, including with service providers that support hosting, authentication, database, storage, analytics, communications, maps, payments, or other platform functions; with shops when necessary to fulfil an order or enquiry; or where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and security.

5. Third-Party Services

Quczo may use third-party services such as Google sign-in and other authentication, cloud hosting, database/storage, mapping, analytics, communication, or payment providers. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Quczo will use such services only as necessary for the relevant functionality.

6. AI-Assisted Features

Quczo uses AI-assisted technologies to help with product search and discovery. Search queries and related information may be processed by these technologies, which may be provided by third-party service providers, to return relevant results and improve the service. Please do not enter sensitive personal information in search fields.

7. Website Enquiries

Our website does not collect messages through an on-page form. If you contact us by email or phone using the details on this website, we use the information you share only to respond to your enquiry.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention
